The Tipping Point: Online Marketing Expenditures Now Exceed Print

We saw an interesting piece of news early this morning, announcing that online marketing expenditure have (or are about to) surpass print marketing expenditures.

I think the only surprise is that it hadn’t already happened. Print has been in a long decline, and online has been enjoying rapid upward growth – and this is predicted to continue for quite some time. I think now that the tipping point has been reached, the shift may accelerate in online’s favor. Momentum is a beast.
